Who I am

Born and raised in Nigeria 🇳🇬, I moved to Canada 🇨🇦 in 2013 to pursue a B.Sc degree in Computer Science at Carleton University. I've since remained in Canada and now work as a Software Developer.

• Lead iOS Developer at Wombo
• Senior Software Developer currently at Shopify (May 2017 - 2021)

For fun

• I really enjoy programming, so I spend most of my free time working on projects that I never end up publishing. Trying to get better with the publishing part. Real artists ship amirite???😅
• I fell in love with anime at a very young age, and that developed into a deeper appreciation for Japanese language & culture. When I'm not programming, I'm usually either practicing my Japanese or watching anime. I'm currently JLPT N2 certified, and studying for the N1 exam.
• Blogging has always been an interest that I've dabbled in here and there. I'd always struggled with putting myself out there on the internet, so that turned me away from it. I'm hoping to use this website to really lean into blogging about different things that interest me (from coding to finance/business to life in general).
